I always appreciate it when individuals break new ground and inspire us with their story.

Sekou Andrews is one of these individuals!

Sekou is an inspirational communicator who invented a new category of spoken word call “Poetic Voice”. But as Andrew reminded me, this is a Noun as well as a Verb- meaning he is the Poetic Voice.

Now, if anybody has a RADIO voice it’s Sekou. So you will be engaged from beginning to end listening to his journey to merge his passion to encourage others, theater, spoken voice, poetry and hip hop. Yes, I wondered how a merge of all these interests could happen as well.

Sekou’s mission is to inspire others, encourage authenticity, and to change the world through the art of speaking.

Sekou left the security of a stable career as a school teacher and took the leap of faith to
chase after his destiny. He teaches us how we can do the same.
